Tuesday, June 9th kicked off our 24-hour Raise A Day for APA! fundraiser that took you behind the scenes of the innovative programs saving the pets most at risk of euthanasia. Our goal was to raise $50,000 in just 24 hours to fund an entire day of lifesaving operations across our full organization — from our medical clinic and transport hub to our main shelter facility and everything in between!
Unfortunately, we didn’t hit our goal, and the emergencies don't stop.
Our amazing partners at Ally Medical and a group of generous anonymous donors refused to let our animals miss out — they have officially extended their $65,000 TRIPLE MATCH until Friday!
If you are supporting a specific campaign, all donations will first be directed to that purpose. Should donations exceed the funds needed, Austin Pets Alive! will redirect excess monies to the area of greatest need.

All donations to Austin Pets Alive! support saving the lives of the thousands of animals that come into APA!’s care each year. Unless you’ve designated funds to be used in a particular way, your monetary donation will support general operations. Your donation will be used where it is needed the most.
How can I make a donation via check?
Checks should be mailed to our lockbox address: Austin Pets Alive!, P.O. Box 736245, Dallas, TX 75373-6245. Checks may also be delivered in person to our Town Lake Animal Center (TLAC) location at 1156 W. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas 78703.
Why are donations made without restrictions, also called our "area of greatest need", important?
All donations made to Austin Pets Alive! support our mission to save animals at needless risk of death. Building and maintaining the comprehensive safety net that protects all shelter pets requires a complex operation. It includes critical needs, and these fluctuate throughout the year as we respond to the needs of at-risk animals as they occur. When you give generally to our operations, you enable the best use of resources in protecting the lives of thousands of animals.
